Traditional Herbal Medicine
Traditional and Natural
Traditional Herbal Medicine that has been handed down over thousands years
Traditional Herbal Decoction (liquid)
Like all other aspects of the Chinese medical tradition, the art of herbal medicine (formulas) has developed and changed through history and continues to do so today. However, the decoction (liquid form) is the mainstream of traditional Chinese herbal medicine to date. This is because it is proven to be the most effective way of herbal treatment in most conditions. For this reason, we keep making herbal medicines following the traditional way of decoction process.
Our herbal medicine prescription is based on the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) method of disease analysis – syndrome differentiation – which uses the Eight Principles, the Four Levels, Zang-Fu Theory (internal organ analysis), the Channel Analysis, etc.
After TCM disease diagnosis is decided by the TCM disease analysis, a herbal prescription (formula) is decided according to resultant treatment principles.
No need to cook your herbs at home
Unlike many other traditional Chinese medicine clinics where you receive a bunch of raw herbs to cook at home by yourself, with very strong and disgusting smell all over the house, our herbal medicine is cooked in our own herbal dispensary. All you need is to bring the herbal medicine pouches home and drink the liquid as instructed. Nonetheless, the herbal medicine is not pre-made. Every single herbal prescription is customized for your condition and newly prepared after your order.
Since we have our own herbal medicine dispensary, the safety, cleanliness and hygiene of cooking and packing process are strictly controlled. The herbal ingredients used for herbal decoction are strictly examined for quality by our practitioners each time. We use herbs of the highest quality but our price is very much competitive. This is the result of our effort to provide the best quality of treatment.
For internal medicine or gynecological conditions, the herbal formula is prescribed for 3 weeks’ intake (for 21 days), which is the most common form of herbal prescription, but it can be prescribed for 10 days as well depending on disease conditions.
